       @alrs Sure, the ANC must be free to make alliances based on their own merits independently of relations between other countries.Assuming the stance that Ukraine is the victim, how can the ANC credibly claim their struggle was for freedom, while now cooperating with nations who instil oppression. Are the ANC's alliances really principled, or merely self seeking.Apartheid was horrific no doubt. Is the new regime different, in principal or action? That is becoming increasingly unclear.

       If the Ukrainian cause is to install missile batteries as close to Moscow as its Western patrons will pay for, I have no sympathies.
