hot take:Pentiums/Celerons/Athlons should not exist anymore and should be replaced with ARM chips running Windows for ARM. Drives ARM competition (when the Qualcomm license expires...), and users get super lightweight, long battery life, cheap laptops.Put them in small form factor desktops too.

@cleanycloth I've always found it strange that Windows for ARM was primarily delegated to high-end devices such as the Surface Pro X, it feels like they're targeting the completely wrong market demographicPart of me has to wonder if they're reluctant due to the failure of Windows RT

Let's face it - yes, ARM chips aren't as powerful as x86 on Windows but they're going to be on par with the lower end chips. Laptops like the HP Stream have everything soldered down as well.So why have the disadvantages of x86 at all, when Windows for ARM is good enough for most people nowadays? I haven't had a chance to use one yet, so my opinion may change when I do, but I don't see how they could be bad. It was OK on my Raspberry Pi 3B+!

Metro isn’t actually a bad design language, I prob would have done the same.
