       @Wormwood @tailedleague Maybe look up Romanticism for similar pictures. The movement often depicted grandiose natural scenes and "Man-as-insignificant-to-the-majesty-of-Nature". Attached is "View of Dresden by Moonlight" by Johan Christian Dahl.

       @Wormwood Absolutely beautiful stuff. The painting can capture the feeling of moonlight much better than photography can.I haven't found anything conclusive on identifying these, but I did come across the Dutch painter Frederik Marinus Kruseman which might be a lead. The big tree kinda looks like one of his, but I doubt it because I didn't see any other night time scenes he did.Paintings sold at auction. You can't download directly, but you can do pixel peeping with a slider. Nice.
