So I've screwed the lid onto the #ADSB feeder box for a little bit while I get some other stuff done.I've tweaked the code a little and refined it so the LCD updates are smoother, and it runs perfectly in sync with the curses emulation of the front panel as well. This is a ludicrous feature that took me a whole evening to do and I'll probably never see again.

@mike do you know if there's similar software for ADS-B? Dump1090 only has planes currently overhead.

Yes! The clock display is still in sync to the second this morning, so my tweaks worked and I don't have to write my own gpsd client library!

@grumpy this is doing exactly the same thing as dump1090, basically just on a different frequency. This map is showing only signals received from the antenna on my roof.

@mike oh! That's a lot of ships! My failure to read the "last seen" date on your dashboard has inspired me to write a cronjob to make a bootleg log-book of planes. I'm sadly land-locked otherwise I'd be logging ships too.
