@AsylumDEG Kinda the same. I’ve got a stack of light chores to piddle around with. We had dinner-and-entertainment last night, kind of: we took Tek Jr with us to get sushi, then came home and watched Edgerunners.

@tek I had to upload four or five different photos before it liked one but eventually it worked. I took a selfie in front of a white wall. Definitely beats going to the post office and dealing with all that.

@tek Oh, they're there too, and so is a rather impressive technical infrastructure. I just don't see how long it will last, now that an almost exclusively white male governance structure has asserted itself. Lots of talk about diversity, but at techbro mercy.

@elshoggotho Ugh. Mine had a solid not-white-male leadership.But on the upside, techbros tend to be well financed, so they can sponsor some nice stuff. Mine had income-adjusted dues, so people paying full price offset the costs for the “starving artist” contingent.

@tek Sure, they know how to weasel their way into government grants. Would be even nicer if they could set up the space and mind their own business, but such is not the techbro way. Can't have bad wrong diversity emerge organically.
