What should I add to my small home server next? #NextCloud ? Maybe some kind of home page for everything? Currently running: - #Pi-Hole with #Unbound - #NGINX reverse proxy serving both - #Kiwix - #JellyFin - #Wireguard with #PiVPN - #Samba NAS for compaibility with my wife's Windows machine

@tomcat NextCloud for sure. Try YUNOHOST if you don't love self-hosting (which it seems you DO, lol)

@RL_DaneThanks! Looks like a neat distro.I'm leaning toward some kind of dashboard to bring everything together, then nextcloud, and I may not even need the samba set up after that.

@tomcat Definitely check out #syncthing if you haven't already. It's purely peer-to-peer, but I have it on a RasPi so there's always at least one machine available for syncing files (and it has *all* the various folders, whereas some machines don't have some folders in order to save space). It's downright magical. ;)

@RL_Dane @tomcat Absolutely! I put it on my TrueNAS Scale implementation and it's really clean and effortless once you get it set up.

@stwhiteI do run #syncthing on my devices! It really is effortless. I use it mainly for my own notes and things, but set up the NAS to share some of my spare storage space.@RL_Dane

@tomcat Check out the awesome self hosted github repo for a lot of ideas. Anyway, I personally recommend Vaultwarden (password manager), calibre-web (eBook management), the whole *arr stack and Nextcloud. Also, for photo management with great mobile support, I recommend Immich. It's still beta, but already very feature rich.

@jvt038Thanks for the recs! I do use #KeePassXC with #SyncThing for password management, and #calibre for books, but hosting the books for use with other devices would be cool! Right now I have #Gutenberg library on my #kiwix instance though, and that has a LOT of public domain books :)
