Trying to get an idea of how many people might be interested in joining a chud DnD session over voice chat, probably some sort of one shot or short campaign at first as an experiment to see how it goes/how entertaining it is. Fun fact, grappling can be op if you go all in on it (3.5 dunno about 5th ed) you can struggle snuggle everything in your path without resistance

In 5e it seems do-able, but it requires mostly on environmental hazards (or spells that create environmental hazards) for the most part. Later on, you can turn into a fucking elemental and drown/fly and drop/incinerate shit with grappling.The wild shapes help a lot, they take over your physical stats. I was toying with druid/monk for a nice AC boost, but smite tho.. Multiattack, land a crit, smite.No clue if we're gonna do 3.5/PF, my brain just knows 5E the best (outside of my homebrew) atm so it's going there lol.

IIRC, each form has its own HP pool, too. In one of my recent campaigns, one of the guys played a druid who frequently went into bear form, and I seem to recall him not having to worry about HP when he changed forms.

Yeah, it's temporary hit points in 5E. So if you get hit for over your total, it goes into your character's HP. But you get 2 wild shapes, or 1 elemental, per rest.With barbarian/monk you can boost durability with higher AC and/or rage too.
