@SrRochardBunson @GreenFire I knew about American Nazis and the America First Campaign. I knew about FDR threatening to arrest Bankers and Charles Lindbergh was involved. I didn’t know the depths and details to this level.

He built oil refineries in Stalin’s USSR and became appalled with communism. Many of his engineers were Bolsheviks who were purged. Even his sons said he was paranoid about communism. To me it seems Fred embodies both loathing from Stalin+historical ignorance.He also built facilities for the Nazis.

@GhostOnTheHalfShell @SrRochardBunson @Cassandra @GreenFire the funny thing is you go to the most red districts in rural America and describe socialist and communist ideals and you wil get a vast amount of agreement. Most are further left than myself. They just don’t know it and they’ve been fed labels as talking points that they don’t understand. The rural way of life has always been a form of collectivism, they believe in taking care of one another and not taking advantage of your neighbors.

@steyrshrek @GhostOnTheHalfShell @SrRochardBunson @Cassandra @GreenFire if I may interject to backup this anecdote. this absolutely the case in rural America. we have to remember how many districts in Pennsylvania and Ohio went to Obama in 08 and 12. they were told yes we can... do more of the same, mostly. these experiences and the "media bubbles" that came to be, pushed these to fall for a different propaganda in an attempt to escape the last one. fascism depends on misguided desperation

I'm saying you can't lie w out consequences.
