       @otyugh One on occasion hears about biodegradable plastic, made from extremely renewable and farmable materials like seaweed or just other weeds.I also have some understanding of the need for packaging, for things like transport and hygiene purposes. The fight against plastic is complex and difficult, with many things to consider.  It doesn’t have any single easy solution. Keep tooting your pictures with jokes though. If only to stimulate the conversation and raise awareness. 🧐🫶😁

       @dgar >I also have some understanding of the need for packagingI don't know. I really don't.I feel like plastic wrap are mainly used as eyecandy for the consumer. The hygiene and transport purpose may be a factor - but I also know that all the fruit/vegetable I worked in on small circuit didn't use it at all. So if plastic is needed, it's most likely used at importing stuff from afar - and it's mostly about enslaved poorer farmer. Which economy I don't respect very much.
