@Effortless Also, "2 strongest years of job growth" is a lie - if you cherry pick the start date, I can make anything look good. If job growth is so high, why have so many people dropped out of the job market entirely?

@Dangerous_Clams @Effortless If you cherry pick the start date and lie about the unemployment and jobs creation numbers, you can make a recession look like the best jobs market ever.

@teknomunk @Effortless Job openings by end of 2022 are 2x more than Jan 2020. Workforce is only now climbing back to the 150 million mark that it was at end of 2020. Unemployment rate is low because of the low workforce participation rate, but it's bottoming out as people return to the workforce. What's weird is the number of job openings, it's so high right now, unemployment is low, so there are fewer heads to fill the gigs. They've been able to stay away due to transfer payments.

@Dangerous_Clams @Effortless I question the accuracy of that data, as it comes from the FED and not from the IRS on number of tax payers.

@teknomunk @Effortless It's not taxpayer counts, it's workforce. Note that the 150 million or so is pretty close to the 50% number of people who pay net income taxes.
