       @kairyssdal I think the Republicans will use it for political purposes (and the untutored will use it thusly)Still, Mr. Ryssdal, there is a lot of difference between a couple of documents (found BY Biden's attorneys and immediately returned), and wholesale retention of documents and former President Trump fighting tooth and nail to keep them.

       @kairyssdal The legal case is about Trump's refusal to return records when asked, and his lying about whether he lept records after claiming to have returned them. None of that happened in this case. Not a single Democrat is out there calling the Justice Department investigation into this a "deep state" plot, or even hinting that it is inappropriate. Republicans will try to make hay out of this—you don't have to help them. You have a platform to help people understand this.

       @kairyssdal democrats should be making hay with this. They should put there pointing out the real differences and how they handled it well, while Republicans continue to make excuses for Trumps crimes.

       @kairyssdal There's such a harsh dichotomy between "discovered misplaced documents and immediately turned them over to the National Archives" and "told the National Archives that all documents had been turned over before discovering more and hiding it".
