       Seeing more and more people sentenced to death by Iran, so many of them so young, and many Kurds and Baloch, like fuck this shit drives me into so much despair and anger. All these people being murdered, and I know the people of Iranian are still fighting back, but how much longer can they really hold out? And it just feels like those of us outside Iran are completely incapable of doing anything but just talking about it.

       @OrobasGacinovic People are barely even talking about it on left twitterOnce the revolution was harder to follow due to internet censorship & oppression, anglos lost interest and they were mostly interested in means-testing the movementIt's gutting to see people who look like me and my family get disappeared, tortured, and executedAnd even my own anarchist acquaintances have just moved on, not that they were particularly supportive or empathetic to begin withFor anglos, the world outside the so-called West is just set dressing, a thought experiment at best. We're not real people, we don't deserve tears, money, or special consideration for inclusion, we're just sad props for their slightly more guilt-ridden than average approach to life under capitalism & whitenessIranians were begging international activists to riot on our behalf, to burn down the places of power that uphold Iranian oppression, to revolt in our name in a shared struggleAnd the anglo left turned out with some placards and that was largely itOne PNW anarchist "celeb" turned private yt guilt shitposter blocked me for being disgusted that her response was literally, "so what? what can we even do about it besides watch and be sad?"  As if I and other Iranians hadn't been saying for weeks that we needed anglos to revolt, too, to end the sanctions if not entirely collapse the international orderAnglos do not want to help, they do not want to care, they do not want to actIt's why fascists are freely able to walk the streets without fear. Anglos aren't willing to spill blood for their principles, but they will spread plague for their personal comforts. Iranians were begging NYC anarchists to literally find and kill regime leaders who frequent the city for leisure and for UN business, and NYC antifascists made a few jokes, some posts, but that was largely it. Meanwhile, Shinzo Abe got got by an electroblunderbuss and that actually forced Japan to reckon with the reasons why he was so hated.
