@Effortless Instead of squeezing fat girls into tight clothes why didn't they try to make nice lingerie for plus sizes?I used to work with a large woman who dressed impeccably and was quite pretty. Of course never saw her in her underwear, but she did it with what she had.

@Effortless Using non-standard models for legitimate utilitarian purpose (ala Lane Bryant) makes sense, but doing so for social clout chasing is stupid. Victoria's Secret was always about ultra-rare looking slender hotties for the male gaze. No kid is going to have a Victoria's Secret catalog full of cottage cheese thighed negresses under his mattress.
