@apschmidt When you follow a hashtag, posts using this hashtag will show up in your Home timeline.

@apschmidt @ruud Some apps also have the option of opening a column for the hashtag so you can look at all the posts. This is available in #SubwayTooter for Android. Hoping that will be an option in more places in the not-too-distant future

@erik_sk @apschmidt yes I also use that in the web UI. There you can pin columns so they stay.

@ruud To be honest, I avoid the home: too much stuff in there, I cannot follow. 😥@Elephantidae I activated the bell for all the accounts I'm following; I would be grateful if such a feature existed for the #. 🙂

@apschmidt @Elephantidae The Home is the one where the stuff appears from people (and hashtags) you follow. So, unless you follow many much used hashtags, there shouldn't be too much there? If there is, try unfollowing the hashtags and just open them as columns.

@ruud About the featured hashtags, do you see them on my profile as described in the description? I don't see any of the ones I added to the "featured" list. 🤔Description: What are featured hashtags? They are displayed prominently on your public profile and allow people to browse your public posts specifically under those hashtags. They are a great tool for keeping track of creative works or long-term projects.
