I work with animals. If I saw ANYBODY, co worker/stranger/client, treat an animal like this in front of me. I'd see red and I'd mostly like end up in prison over it. I know I would. I nearly beat the shit out of a former employer for turning the AC off in a cat room at a kennel (During a fucking heat wave). The senile cunt turned and looked at me, I was off the clock and just taking care of the cats because they generally get neglected at kennels, told me it "was too cold in here" and switched the fucking AC off and opened a window without telling anyone on shift. I was literally seething for hours, hell I still want to stick a brick in his skull for it. Cats can literally die from shock from a sharp change in temperature of more than 10 degrees. This was way past a 10 degree change.He even bitched to management that I undid his attempted cat slaughter by closing the window and turning the AC back on. If someone values money/cruelty over empathy, in a career field that obviously requires empathy, they need to be publicly executed imo. Slowly too, make it a really nice and gruesome one. Dissuade others from grifting in those jobs for a long time.
