       I've heard for many years the main thing about public key is you give out the product of two primes and it's too hard to work out the maths with just the product.But what was the operation that was "too hard"?For RSA it's the number of integers between 0 to m that are relatively prime to m. Just having m is hard to do but if you know the prime factors of m, it's a relatively simple operation.That's the operation!
