       oom-killer showed up and ruined my #selfhosted #mastodon party. I bumped my instance up to 4GB RAM to handle high load periods. 🐘 It seems like sidekiq was the big consumer of memory this time around.

       @major You need 4GB of RAM as a single user instance?WTH... Pleroma doesn't use even remotely that much, I'm way below 2GB of usage on the box it's running on

       @reto I've heard the resource requirements for Pleroma are quite a bit smaller, but I decided to go the full Mastodon route this time around.
