       I could say "separate political plans from power fantasies" and start a useless round of discourse. But I don't want to, because I'm just disappointed. People who actually see men (as a gender, in general, not a select group of active defenders of the gender inequality) as the enemy to be rebelled against are not my allies. Because I know what they'll do to me.

       @GDPHCommunity I think I'll probably write a bigger post about it later today. I'm having thoughts about the line between a necessary degree of making people uncomfortable because your liberation is violating social norms and straight up being violent to them on purpose.

       @comrade_lecter i get that abolishing the patriarchy like a lot of things will mean people confronting and questioning their own biases and practices, but VIOLENT? There’s nothing violent about growing as a person and becoming less misogynistic. The fact that this persons ideology inherently involves a lack of compassion people on the account of their gender says more about them than it ever will about the people they’re trying to hurt.
