       @kairyssdal which is how the role is traditionally defined, for what it's worth.So much so that often the speaker was not expected to vote. So, sure, it's 'leadership' but it's through consensus not this disgusting creation of the Speaker as the pinnacle of the winner take all system of Congress.Party first, not nation first.

       @kairyssdal Similarly, if leaders “lead” only by either asking “what do you want me to do now?” or “what is everybody else doing?” and then mindlessly following along - that is not leadership.
