I'd need a fryer, and a lot of heavy oils that I don't do anymore. Might mush up some peas with some mint though, that sounds like a good compromise.

Closest I've found so far this side of the pond, didn't mint their mushy peas and used chips that were too thin and not soggy from the fat. 4/5, tasted good but wasn't English.

We have some weird stuff, the scots eat guts and deep fry pretty much everything. Brought back a lot of spices back in the ol' Empire days. Some of the migrants made stuff like chicken tikka masala etc. Yorkshire Puddings are one I miss, but pasties.. Man, that shit was lush.
