@Jim HEY Jim, you mentioned you were into a bunch of Creepy Pastas and channels. What do you listen to? I got super into MrCreepyPasta but dropped off after a while due to quality of some stories…Like Tales from the Gas Station enough to get the audiobooks on audible.

There are a few good series I listened to lately, I generally like longer form ones. One is by MrCreepyPasta which I thought was good another is by Dr Creepen who has the perfect voice for these sorts of stories. Also the first one I linked the author of it wrote two books and has a third out now under The Effluvium Haze title.This one is about a family surviving hostile creatures taking over the world. I think I started that lockdown series, I’m gonna have to go back and figure out how far I got into the sequel episodes. That’s the one with the family and two small kids?Apparently MRCreepyPasta is currently in hospital with high blood pressure on the edge of a stroke/heart attack… what scary shit was he reading to jump scare himself into that?!

Yeah it's the one with the kids. I think in total with all the parts it's about 5 hours long and the Meat Locusts series by Dr Creepen is around 11 hours long. I really like the sort of stories that focus on survival and have a long length to them. Apocalyptic theming and all that.

I’d also recommend lighthousehorror, he’s pretty good, but a much smaller channel than the big guys. He narrated one of mine though, so I might be biased.

One of the nice things about creepypasta is there are tons of channels to stumble across for narration so I'm always up for more suggestions. Whereas stuff like short films for horror or scifi is almost always found on Dust or Alter. Probably because it's harder for a small channel to get many eyes on a production that took months to years to film.

What do you think about the current state of SCP? The entries have become fucking novels, there’s a guy on YouTube, and he takes like 1 hour to abridge these giant fucking posts.

Oh I remember the video. That’s why I asked. When he talked about it it still vaguely resembled Scp. Now it’s like really pretentious and overplayed. That and there were all the power users who got outed for being involved in ERP with minors. A few of note, Gabriel jade, the guy behind the plague doctor. And dr. Bright, the guy behind the self insert dr. Bright.

Dark Somnium is my go-to. He makes his own music, sound effects, graphics, etc. He even partners with people and makes sure they get big ups. Very talented and good guy.
