To be fair, Spanish last names being of sephardic origins is incredibly common and they are in a great deal of cases so many generations removed from their origins that you could see actual niggers called Fuentes or Gomez, so it doesn't really hold much of anything as an argument for or against someone being a jew.

And whilst mostly driven by a genuine drive to enact positive change, it tends to leave Nick making a series of highly questionable decisions based on a hyper reactive and unquestionable impulse that only serve to expose his wider strategic naivety. It's why, as you've rightly said, he's a far more effective political commentator than any sort of active ideological mover. And you're correct regarding Nick's process actually working quite well until very recently. I was very much a silent supporter of AF - or at least as supportive as an anglo bong can be - and would speak at length with @LeTrav about Nick and the movement in truly glowing terms. He, along with some very talented colleagues, were legitimately moving the needle before our very eyes and with the fallout from the groyper wars and the growing influence of AFPAC it's almost impossible to conceive of the subsequent issues that have continuously chipped away at the America First movement throughout 2022. I fear that Metokur debate delivered a pretty fatal blow and seemed to send Nick cascading down a path of paranoid self-destruction and inadvertent strategic blunders that I strongly doubt he'll ever recover from. I'm also in agreement in that I'm not convinced Nick is a direct federal asset. Whilst the lack of culpability for quite clearly instructing his groyper following to partake in a supposed 'insurrection' raises eyebrows, I haven't really seen anything concrete to strongly suggest actual involvement with governmental agencies. I'm sure he's had plenty of conversations with the FBI and it's certainly likely he could very well have aided them in some way or another but until there's tangible proof I'll put that talk aside for now. Baked Alaska on the other hand has absolutely assisted the feds and there's undeniable evidence for that being the case. And whilst I agree he's not literally out there on the streets wearing wires and following orders, he has absolutely helped them identify those who stormed the capitol through access to his phones, assistance with footage and continued federal cooperation. In fact, Baked Alaska pretty much perfectly personifies everything that is wrong with Nick; often serving as the conduit for Nick's very worst impulses.

I could be remembering it wrong but I seem to recall there being a period of fairly sustained positivity around the movement for at least a month or two at that time. You're right that some of the darker and more destructive seeds could very well have been planted around then - likely a result of Nick's unchecked post-groyper war ego. But again to me it felt like there was something of an upward trajectory at that point in time. Not that it matters - it soon turned to complete and utter shit.

Then Nick went off the deep end. I personally never trusted Fuentes. He always seemed "off" for some reason, which I could never put my finger on, even when I agreed with what he said. I think AF has been a lot of things throughout its existence. I agree that the most recent iteration of it definitely has the hallmarks of your classic cult of personality money/fame grab but I'm not sure it was always that. Maybe I'm wrong and maybe I'm being far too generous in my assessment but to me there was this period of time where Nick was just another in a long line of political commentators carving a place for himself on the internet. Groyper Wars and AFPAC certainly seemed to seriously affect how he viewed himself and his movement. The community around him became increasingly cultish, the messaging was focused far more around Nick and less so around the ideological right, he'd present himself more and more as some sort of deific savior and the increasingly insane delusions of his own effect on the wider political world were driven into overdrive.
