It seems everyone in that list are great people. I think I ended up there for boosting "All billionaires are policy failures". He is even listing "toxic domains" such as "queer.party", which are definitely not toxic, but more like eligible for whitelisting. I think you only need to have pronouns, belong to a sexual or social minority, or hashtag #EatTheRich or have "antifascist" in your profile to get on it.I checked like the first ten people he has blocked, and that's the general theme. Now I am just confident in assuming every single one on that list is a great person.

@tero Just skimming through the list of accounts that are on this list, I've seen many names of accounts that I've had great interactions with. Even the owner of the instance that I'm on is on there, even though they're quite the nice person. Listing queer people as "toxic" and "hate speech spreaders" screams "I hate everyone who I don't agree with", which I suppose isn't surprising given some of the accounts and instances that _aren't_ on there.

@jay, by statistical sampling I am becoming convinced he is against all sexual and social minorities, antifascism, pronouns, #EatTheRich, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was all in on NFTs. I'm also there for hate speech, I time correlated it with that "all billionaires are policy failures" boost.

Like it wouldn't even occur to me.We have a pretty permissive idea of free (legal) speech.I'd have to prove actual malice, in other words, I'd have to prove the person knew the claim was false at the time they made it.I'd have to prove injury, too.

@tero @jay In a weird sort of way, it's kind of a good thing.It's like reverse defederation. They'd likely have said something that led to ending up on fediblock.Instead they just blocked anyone who might put them on fediblock, and we can safely ignore them forever.
