@rizele all payments from patreon are for mewmew, mewmew actually pays around ~50 too, as soon as i pay for the whole infrastructure we transfer the patreon account to me

The big problem is the database size, so storage is necessary. You need at least 2x the database size to do all offline maintenance tasks. 3x if you want to be able to repack while the server is up.

Just start small and size up as it grows. Pleroma will run fine on a single core when the database is small. So a bottom tier vps should work at first.
