Can any #Wordpress masters help me with a simple question?I want to eliminate the circled sections from the post summaries on the homepage of https://midreality.com. I know what the source looks like and that I need to eliminate the related span classes, but can't find the right php or css file to edit. I just need a nudge in the right direction. Thank you!

@killyourfm I think that is a theme level setting, so I would check there. Sorry, been a bit since I run WP, so I cannot be more specific.

@killyourfm in the Web UI go to Appearance -> Theme Editor. Then you go to page dot php (and some other pages) and search for "Posted in" and you'll find the line you can comment out.

@killyourfm One of either two files, index.php or archive.php, each one could be using its own unique formatting in the php.

@futtta AHHH you are a legend! Thank you, Frank! I tried also finding the one of two php files this code should be in (thanks for that guidance @popey!) but for the life of me, couldn't locate the code. Your tip did the trick, thanks!

@killyourfm I had a quick look at the theme (Miniva) and it looks like /inc/template-tags.php has the code which writes the tag spans. It will be overwritten if you update the theme mind so make a note of it or make a child theme.

@killyourfm some themes allow for turning these things off via settings. If not, adding additional stand-alone CSS or using filter functions in a child theme will be more long-term-maintenance friendly than editing the theme’s files, which might get reverted the next time you update.

@killyourfm you're welcome :) it's always better to over-rule CSS this way to avoid any changes in files being overwritten with a theme update :-)
