My understanding of things is that if you want to expect to have your copyright acknowledged, you have to aggressively peruse violations of it when you see it. Youtube notified me of the stream having a 100% match in audio of someone that just bulk uploaded the entirety of my stream with zero transformative aspects or commentary. I did not 'strike' the video I opted for the 7 day option giving the guy the chance take it down with zero penalty to his channel. But now, people that have zero aversion to blatantly lying about me, I have now rescinded the strike, and will not persue any copyright claim going forward for any blatant and willful violation of my copyright so I can avoid further defamation.
