@diabetes tipHi. I'm a t2d, recently starting a cgm (Libre 3). recently, I was mildly diabetic; after getting covid, my blood sugar issues got worse. I will probably have to step up medication in the near future. Not looking forward to new side effects. Looking for support, tips, and a peek into the experience and knowledge of this group. Curious about insulin pumps, knowing insulin could be in my future (and worried about that). Looking forward to improving my health in 2023. Hi!

@LolaPoliticka "sick day rules" is how the UK refers to it, even simple flu requires extra insulin (if insulin-using already that is.)COVID affected my blood sugar for a whole month (https://flameeyes.blog/2022/06/14/got-covid-it-sucks/ ) so yes definitely not fun but quite expected.Personally I'm in a bit of a unique situation (not t1 nor t2) but I've been using insulin as well as Metformin for the past ten years -- not needed a pump yet, just a morning long-acting dose.
