Those who did not vote - well, that is their fault.That vote meant that the whole original schedule was thrown out the window for something bigger and better which we are now starting to get.We already have more than originally promised. Space to planet landings without cut scenes etc..Still no facts from you ... carry on.

The game exists but most of the promised things aren't there yet.- Yes, they announced it that the game would be finished in 2014 for a funding of 2m total, not a glorified alpha in 2023 with over 500m in funding (which also violates Kickstarter's rules - though this violation only became clear after the campaign).- I have luckily not paid a red cent for it, though my friend (who has) definitely isn't (guy has a stroke each time you mention SC).@PhilRudland @selea

@rauldevezas I do want to point to a different game called "Elite Dangerous".This game started dev shortly after SC (with a Kickstarter shortly before SC) and has been finished (2014) with its first DLC (2021).A lot of the core features that SC also promised are there.So basically ED is what SC originally promised but ED stuck to their promise and delivered, in time (albeit the DLC had its issues during release but those are fixed).and ofc, there's No Man's Sky...@PhilRudland @selea

@finlaydag33k Just think the through steps! Crowd funding is when you state a plan and a cost that you expect will be required to complete it. Then people pledge. You have no control over how much they pledge, so you have no control over how much you get funded. When Star Citizen started they got more than 10x the amount they requested for the original plan. What should Chris Roberts have done? Completed the original promise and run off with the rest? That would really be a Scam!

@finlaydag33k Reiterating how much more money he got does nothing except increase your indignation. Why keep doing it? The fact is that he got so much more from the original Kickstarter that the original plan was no longer viable. I have suggested that they should set aside 14 devs (out of currently 850) for two years to make a "mini-SC" according to the original plan, just to shut up the whiners, but no one thought it was a good idea. Next to what we already have, it would be worthless.
