@hyde @taywee I guess you could take the time to configure all of Vim's commands to mirror Helix. What interests me is the concept of `selection`->`command`, over Vim's `command`->`selection`.

@hyde @taywee For example, in Vim, deleting a word or removing it to the buffer would be `d` -> `w`; in Helix, this is reversed to `w` -> `d`. The idea of establishing what you want to enact a command on first seems more intuitive to me.

@hyde @benjaminhollon @taywee since I already use it, then yeah probably.I'm only experimenting with Helix because I think it has some interesting design choices that stand out over Vim/NeoVim. I'm probably not going to drop Neovim entirely unless I find Helix better meets my needs. The project doesn't even have plugins yet, I doubt it can completely replace Neovim for me, at least not yet.

@benjaminhollon @brandont @hyde @taywee True! I find that learning new things isn't quite so hard, it's the un-learning of really well-established things that's the kicker.I tried switching to dvorak for a solid month in late 2021 and it just about broke me. 😅
