My apologies but it's been beautiful outside. I'll be dropping in but may delay your reply cause I'm going outside. Caught this belted kingfisher on Monday. Only my 2nd. I've heard it in that location but no 📷 . It was way off & didn't let me get close. @JimsPhotos Lol! Thank you. I like the fact that I was able to get a usable shot👍. Don't get to see them very often let alone photograph them. I know I may have a false impression but I'm always astounded at the number of kingfisher pics I see from folks in Great Britain. Seems like they're all over the place. I don't see many American photographers sharing their kingfisher shots🤷♂️.

@Rihilism I've seen quite a few Belted Kingfishers on here. In UK, there are reserves that build hides next to small lakes/ponds and provide Kingfisher accommodation. There is a place I've been that during the 1st 6 weeks of chicks being born, you can see the Kingfishers every 20 mins catching fish and returning to feed family like clockwork.#nature #NaturePhotography #birds #Wildlife #naturecommunity #photography #kingfisher
