       @nvk The description is misleading. Nostr is neither censorship resistant nor an alternative to Twitter.If too many people try to join it now it will just die under the weight of the traffic. Besides, any determined attacker could easily both DoS the network and censor content.The more I learn about it the less I believe it can succeed.It needs a ton of work before it can be taken seriously.We should give the developers the time to do that work.

       @nvk that’s not the point.You can have a great experience with it and it still be useless in solving the problems it claims to solve.If you think I’m just being salty, read their protocol documentation.The Readme starts with random nonsense like “it’s not peer-to-peer therefore it works”. They claim it’s a “censorship-resistant alternative to Twitter”. Yet there’s not even any argument for defending it can actually resist censorship and much less scale to anything close to Twitter.
