       Paul Simon - “The Rhythm of the Saints” (1990)Genre: FolkRating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆After Graceland, Paul Simon explores indigenous African music again. This time, he goes further into the rhythms. I confess that he executes this well, and this is an excellent album. However, I can’t help but feel that, while Paul Simon helped expose us to many excellent musicians from Africa, there’s still quite a bit of fetishizing going on. He’s another white guy benefiting from innovations made elsewhere.
