@selea Can't be slower than when I used to do it on a 486 back circa 1999.Though TBF, I always made a monolithic kernel with only the drivers I needed.

@selea almost as much fun as the "debian unstable" experience.:-D been to both camps done that, now i just run vanilla....but YES.its worthwhile and you learn a lot.... (as things break).and get to see all the updates far ahead.how are you?
