We introduced the ability to use #DeepL (Free/Pro) but that might be unclear if you just discovered DeepL.DeepL allows you to use their api with a paid plan (around 7 euros a month).It's also possible to get a free key with the dev entry.With #Fedilab we allowed both entries (API URLs are different).For having a key Developer: https://www.deepl.com/pro#developerIndividual:https://www.deepl.com/pro#teamPS: there is no partnership with DeepL, otherwise we will have asked a key for the app.

@nusIt's a kind of easter eggs. Just write "fedilab_quote" between two ":" (like for emojis)That will pick up a famous quote between 2k available.

@SuranIt is used to translate messages. By default Fedilab uses LibreTranslate at https://translate.fedilab.app but DeepL have better translations due to their pretrained models.

@devnullUse Fedilab translation. But fedilab always send text by obfuscating mentions, tags, URLs, emails, etc whatever the translation machine behind :)

@apps No. Just using another service doesn't resolve that issue. I have no reason to translate my own content¹.What if I don't want *other people to use my content through their timelines* to train machine learning for a for-profit company, without even having ask for my consent.1. I don't use automabic translators any way. They all suck. I only follow people who posts in one of the languages that I actually speak. And then occasionally use dictionary when needed/for specific words.

@apps Are there any plans to make the app more accessible for #screenreader users? Would be great if all buttons could be labeled and most important, if You could implement a way to move the accessibility focus to the next/previous toot with 1 swipe. Currently it takes 5 swipes because there are a lot of buttons we have to skip. These could be accessed by using #Talkback actions.
