Looks like the new Mastodon instance https://linux.social has just blocked over 700 Mastodon instances, a lot of them being blocked by error, including https://linuxrocks.online, https://tilde.zone, https://pleroma.envs.net, https://toot.wales, https://mstdn.starnix.network, and my personal Pleroma instance, https://pleroma.jamesp.org.https://linux.social is a brand new Mastodon instances created by the same community as https://linux.chat, which runs the IRC channel #linux on https://libera.chat.If your instance is blocked it will show up in the list below:https://fba.ryona.agency/?reverse=linux.socialThe instances were blocked for the reason "Federates/interacts with bad acting or blocked instance" but we have innocent people and brands using these instances, and they're gonna be blocked now along with people's innocent small instances.These aren't even blocked by most instances like https://fosstodon.org, https://floss.social and https://mastodon.social! I feel this has gotten too out of hand, and I had to say something.However it seems like, https://mastodon.sdf.org, https://floss.social and https://librem.one are safe.
