       @morph I remember previous generations sending and recieving telegrams (on paper) for big birthdays and so. But can't recall anyone mention using it for communication. Telex I heard some used in workplace. In trading companies and so. Think it was used in shipping a lot?

       @inscius I remember that Mum had a Telex machine in the office. Later came Fax. She also had a typewriter that was able to save display a really small number of chars in a running row. Those you could edit before letting the machine finally type the parts for the document. Those were very pricy machines at that time.

       @morph I rememeber those typewriters. Some also had floppy discs to save docs on. Never used it myself. So not sure how it worked.

       @inscius She brought it home when it was not used anymore. I've typed on this thing for my course. It had no floppy just internal storage.
