       @mb while I agree that the outlook of this is kinda grim, I think that this is not going to be enforced for instances running Mastodon.This ruling most likely came up because of trolls/bad faith actors using the Mastodon name even though they host other software (ex. https://mastodon.tech/).

       @mb Correction, isnā€™t permitted implicitly, without a written permission. All of the current ā€œmastodonā€ servers will get an explicit permission.
