@appsIf I configure Deepl as a translator Fedilab suffers a forced shutdown as soon as I press the translate toot button (mail sent with report).The problem disappears when I reconfigure Fedilab as translation provider.

@Piky_NievesNo, you can get a free api key with the dev tab. But by respect with its use, it should be a personal paid api that you can use in different apps. Our DeepL update is more for knowledge users.For sure translations are really better. @nichu42 @JotaSeth

@appsNo but selecting text on android, translate will offer you a translate button. So the extra propriatory translate in app is IMHO obsolete and just a gadged driving traffic to that source. @nichu42 @Piky_Nieves @JotaSeth

@roelfrenkemaOffering a one click to translate to a respectful machine translation can't be obsolete :) Selecting text and use the context menu requires also some geeky knowledge ;) Only really advanced users will understand how to use it. @nichu42 @Piky_Nieves @JotaSeth
