       I've been aware of Mira's work for as long as I knew her, and had always meant to read it (I think I bought, or meant to, buy a copy at one point but lost the link, so purchased a fresh one today, it's only $10 and proceeds go to her family - http://fuckingtranswomen.org), but I'm an absolute joke when it comes to reading anything long-form so hadn't yet.I'm now about a quarter through it and it really is excellent, I really regret not reading it sooner. 💚

       On "muffing," god I really wish the first person who ever played with (what said-person referred to as) my  "pocket pussy" would have read the many lines Mira spent discussing communication and warming up and actually finding the inguinals; that was literally my only experience with muffing and that person jamming her fingers into and rooting around my canals was so off-putting and unpleasant that I haven't tried muffing again since.

       This on page 66 is worth discussing: has this changed in the 12 years since FTW was published? On one hand, browsing the "transgender" section on Pornhub is very dispiriting, and sites like xnxx still use "/shemale" as the slug for the trans category.OTOH, OnlyFans is a thing now? And it feels like there are more trans femme producers now at big studios (GenderX Films seems to hire a few, though I may be wrong about that).
