@kaia some phone vendors disable that feature (like samsung), but android normally can have up to 4 user profiles and up to 32 or 64, i don’t remember, on GrapheneOS, and each of them have one work profile per user, that is normally accessable with main PIN, but it can be different. Work profiles require an third-party app to function though, like this.

@kaia this actually happened to me in japan on entry. they have a website where you fill out immigration and customs information and it generates two QR codes to get you though the line faster on arrival. They recommend saving the QR codes in case you don't have Internet when you arrive (common since your SIM card usually won't work in another country.) So I am in the line, and they announce to open the website. I have the QR codes on my phone up on the screen but the guy thinks it is the website and wants to see the other code and he just starts swiping my screen confused until it starts bringing up big-breast anime girls. Luckily I have no shame.

@kaia android sort of has a tool for this called "app pinning". You can put an app on your screen that can't be exited out of without a password.If you could make a very simple app that just showed a single picture and nothing else, then you pinned that app, that would probably work. You'd browse for the picture you want, say " open in" then pin that.

@kaia@brotka.st On Android you can make folders/images hidden to keep them from appearing in the gallery.Use a file manager to put a dot (like ".folder-name") in front of any folder or image containing questionable content and it shouldn't display in the gallery as it makes the folder hidden.

@kaia@brotka.st of course this isn't as bulletproof as some of the other solutions suggested here but just hope someone isn't digitally literate enough, or is respectful enough, to not just go into the file manager to snoop.
