@stux I kinda like the idea of one of these showing up one day and is just open about it being less than above board.Like “YES, I WILL SCAM YOU IMMEDIATELY IF YOU SUPPORT ME. SUBMIT CARD INFO NOW”Lots of people would give money to that. I would.

@stux It is like saying "This is a pyramid scheme, but it is not a scam". NFTs especially - but the whole of crypto currencies - are one big scam.Like with all scams, some people will make money out of it, and so claim that it is clearly Not A Scam. But the fact some people make money out of it does not mean it isn't a scam.Look at Western politics.

@stux It does serve one good purpose: as a litmus test for someone's financial intelligence. Last year, our group financial controller left for another job. Her replacement, on his first day, started talking about his mate who'd quit his job because he'd bought an NFT. The guy has proved himself to be less useful than a chocolate teapot. Just wish the finance director would acknowledge it.
