@stux we (east coast) will be the last to go, but there’s supposed to be a 30 degree F drop in temperatures starting around noon . Not good.

@stux This morning at 9 it will be above freezing and raining here; at ten it will be drop to snow temps and at 11 it will be below freezing - that‘s my window to salt the driveway before it turns into a slanted ice rink.

@stux Thanks, fren - can confirm - here in Seattle, we're on track to get ~2 inches of freezing rain tonite, and my neighbors up the hill are having a tough time getting around(read: crashing into other cars @ the bottom of the hill)

@stux Thanks, stux. It is extremely cold. We rarely get these types of temps in the southern central plains. Even tho at 3F with windchills significantly into the minus range, we aren't the worst off, I was told last night that some in town are without electricity due to high winds, and others with natural gas piped to their homes, were also without for a yet unnamed reason. Scary.
