       someone pointed out that the idea of having instances organise to push the idea of interoperability and decentralisation would be ironic.the thing is, organised bodies (such as corporations) will usually win out over people who are too busy infighting and bickering.we may be facing a greater threat than disagreements about moderation policies or preferred ActivityPub software, is what i'm thinking. one might have to adjust priorities a little.
