With #Fedilab, you can currently have:- A bottom menu with a top bar (default).- A single top bar.Are you interested by a single bottom bar?

@appsI don't like the single top bar. I would love to try it at the bottom but not convinced

@appsI would be interested in a single bottom bar with a whatever the opposite of a drop down menu is to use as a timeline switcher. That being said, I love Fedilab! I feel like I tried all the Mastodon apps that are currently being actively being maintained for Android and it has the best feature set.

@appsYes, please! With screen sizes being so large everything placed in a top bar becomes a hussle to reach holding the phone in one hand.I do prefer the way the top bar works over the bottom menu, but because of the mentioned reasons I don't use it.

@appsI would prefer the top bar didn't scroll off the top of the screen when I scroll down.

@appsI really like #Fedilab, thanks a lot for that!I am just worried that you are creating a huge pile of technical debt by adding lots of random features that you won't have fun to maintain in a few years from now.

@groteWe understand your concerns. But what we learned was to no implement too much features that should be only handled by server side.Fedilab started more than five years ago. And we added bookmarks support, notes for accounts, etc.We got trapped when it came to Mastodon for syncing user data (old local data with servers). Now, we only add features that depend of client side. Except "home muted users" because we think that Mastodon will not change its mind concerning lists.

@groteFor translations, we keep our translation service because it's the same used by Mastodon now (LibreTranslate), but we are sure that every fedilab users can use it even if their admins didn't implement that feature on their instance. Also, we keep it up-to-date as soon as possible :)

@appsLet's see, the two choices is ok so far. It'll depend on the user and his preferences. For example, I like both. I sometimes use one and sometimes, the other. However, If I am to prefer one, I will definitely stay with the top bar with the icons ordered as follows:Home / Notifications / Messages / Local / Federal.Thanks.

@apps Enjoy using the app!I would love the option to have a single bottom bar with the icons and only the pinned list menu button. I don't need all pinned lists on the bar if they are also in the overflow menu.Would be much cleaner that way.

@appsSince the very first day I only use the single top bar. I'm not sure if I'd prefer having it at the bottom, but if one could choose it's position that would be great.
