I have been angrily against the "it's okay to be vulnerable" movement but I want to clarify it is actually okay to be vulnerable you just have to be careful who because there are people out there sometimes who are straight up incentivized to exploit vulnerability. Being vulnerable with someone can be beautiful, be careful to share it with people that are worthy and reciprocating.

@e @Moon you're missing the point. modern life is practically impossible to go through without hiding behind some sort persona/mask or repressing some sort of want/desire. unless you genuinely live in a shack in the middle of no where, you need to get in line or be ostracized and be effectively barred out- you can't be vulnerable in such a place.

It's literally inescapable.
