I'd feel safer on the subway .. at least back when I lived in a city with a subway I'd have a thick coat on and gloves (summers I'd just ride my bike) ... that looks kinda terrifying .. like you startle any of them and you're gonna die. You can be packed shoulder to shoulder on the Blue line and no one is going to do anything ... unless you ride it at like 1am.
