       I had to hit the page down key on Google News *10 times* to see any article mentioning the World Cup. Even in US Twitter it's been the top trending terms all day. To be on the 11th page is nuts. I'm not sure what a better alternative is though.

       @sj For me, Google News bubbles up the local news stories I don't get because I don't watch TV news and like most of the country, my local paper was bought by Gannett and the local coverage is mostly gone.I mostly get my news from the New York Times and Wall Street Journal, both of which had the World Cup right up top this morning.
