@stux This is the Netherlands where it's tolerated to grow a few plants, but this is a severe waste of heat. When the lights go off those plants will freeze. Hence they are likely to be cowboys rather than pros.

@stux Just speculating, but what if they chose to heat the upstairs and not the rest of the home? That way it would be super cozy, tropical even. It's a tradeoff. In moments like this, I try to extend the most optimistic version of the story bc it ain't my business.

@stux Our roof looks like that sometimes too, a neighbour came up to me and whipered in my ear psssttt be careful with that *points*, and can I buy some??? LOLWe just have a badly isolated rental house and the heating higher than normal (chronic illness)(Not anymore though (higher heating), with these prices URGH!)
