       Why some prominent US tech journalists have such a hard time recognising #Mastodon & the concept it is based on as the next step in advancement seems to stem from something deeply rooted in US culture, something #SiliconValley is built on: #Tech Hero Worship. They need someone to idolise, a captain at the helm, a saviour. They need & want a #SteveJobs, a Page, #Bezos, and follow & enable the next best: #ElonMusk, #ElizabethHolmes, #SBF, the list is endless.You can't interview a Github repo.
