       I know it won’t happen because people’s (especially developer’s) worldviews are so set, but today’s hearings should really be the nail in the crypto coffin. It’s literally all a scam. Everything about it, blockchain, “currencies”, tokens, exchanges, contracts, all of it.

       @thomasfuchs I think blockchain, properly applied, can be a useful technology for contracts. Tokens, exchanges, crypto-currencies are all examples of “this is wrong tool”.

       @wndxlori Blockchain has been around for 15 years and no one has ever found any application for it that wouldn't be better or equally well implemented with other technologies; especially concerning energy usage and environmental impact.Essentially it's a giant red herring used primarily to legitimize scams and fraud.It's time to move on.
